1 . Challenge ideas and assumptions. Do your best to learn about the specific poverty issues in your community, and bring awareness to them. 

2 . Donate funds and time & find volunteer opportunities. Mutual aid and crowdfunding is a good way to help individuals. 

3 . Attend demonstrations or rallies to increase awareness and pressure officials and businesses to create more equitable policies and practices

4 . Support pay transparency. Particularly if you belong to a group that is privileged over another, share your pay and provide information that helps others negotiate fair pay.
